Show
& Shine Questions
Do you expect the same lineup of trucks entering the Show
this year?
No, we have spent a lot of time
preparing a new game plan. Once you get to the Staging Area
you must show your pre-registration confirmation or pay $40
(cash, debit, Visa, MC or AMEX). You will then be parked.
Only trucks who are pre registered can enter the grounds
starting at 10 am on Thursday. All other trucks cannot enter
until Friday at 9am or Saturday at 8 am. There will be no
parking on the Show & Shine field after 9pm Thursday
& Friday.
Once I am parked in the Show & Shine area what else
do I have to do?
After you are parked you need to take
your pre-registration confirmation or your at site payment
confirmation and registration form to the Registration Shed
along with your mileage. At that time you will receive your
Weekend Passes, window placard and goody bag.
If I have a truck in the Show & Shine can I
bring in supplies in a car/pickup?
No, you must bring all supplies with
you or carry in from front entrance. Please remember that we
had over 600 Trucks on our S&S field in 2005 as well as
over 54,000 spectators. Having additional vehicle movement
creates a huge liability as well it upsets many S&S
participants with the amount of dust in the air.
If I enter a truck in the Show
& Shine can I sleep in my truck?
We encourage you to stay in
your truck or if room allows you can set up atent behind
your truck but please take it down during the day. Our
judges do look at your site appearance when they are judging
your truck.
