Show & Shine Anniversary Area

For many years there is a corner spot in our Show & Shine that offers great trailer exposure to the trucks that park there. For the past couple of years the same company has been in this location and has created a sore spot with many drivers as they would like this spot to show off their rigs.

The Fergus Truck Show realizes this great area and has decided for the first time to grant parking privledges.

This area will be open yearly for any company to apply for. There are a few catches to reserve this spot.

1) The company requesting this prime area must be celebrating a significant anniversary ending in a "0" or a "5" this year.

2) This anniversary area will reserve up to 30 trucks and or trailers from the winning company

3) All trucks must pay to be entered in the Show & Shine

4) Because we expect something special to be done at the Anniversary area the trucks are not eligible for awards from nor be entered in the "Best Fleet", "Best Displayed Area" or "Best Light Show - Fleet" classes

5) In order to qualify for judging, a company representative must submit a written summary of the following:

• Name of company
• Year of anniversary being celebrated in 2007
• Why the spot is best suited for their company
• How many trucks would be expected to participate
• Briefly describe what the plan would be for the spectators to realize this is a special area dedicated to this company
• Written application must be received via mail or email before June 15, 2007

6) A team of judges will decide which company will receive the special Anniversary  area by June 25. 

7) The oldest, largest display or best display may not necessarily be awarded the location.

8) The judges decision will be final
