General Show Questions

Is there motorcycle parking onsite? All motorcycles must park at the offsite parking site at the high school ($5). (shuttle bus provided)
What are payment options for General Admission Cash as well as there are ATM's near each entrance as well as 2 on the grounds.
Can I purchase advance tickets? Advance tickets are available online now.
Is there handicap parking onsite? There is limited handicap parking on site.
I have trouble walking can I bring a golf cart or ATV to get around the Show grounds? No, however we do allow handicap scooters & electric wheelchairs. During daylight hours we do have "people movers" that tractors pull around various areas of the show. The Show staff & volunteers use golf carts to do the required jobs and routine patrolling.
Are motorcycles permitted on Show grounds? Motorcycles are only allowed in the campground area or if used on a exhibitor display. They are not to be driven throughout the showgrounds.
Can I leave the grounds and come back? You can however you will need to have your Weekend or Day wristband for re-admission. If you remove your wristband it is considered void.
Are pets allowed on the Show grounds? We prefer that all pets are left at home. If you have to bring your pet it must be leashed and under your control at all times. Please remember you are legally responsible for your pets actions.
Is there an ATM on site? There are 2 ATM's on site, one inside the Complex and the other located outside near the back entrance of the arena. As well there will be 2 ATM's located outside the show near the entry gates.
Is there vehicle parking on site for general public? All general public parking ($5) is in a farmer's field adjacent to the Show grounds. This year there will be no shuttle bus because entry into the show will be at the parking field.
Can spectators bring alcohol into the show? No. Under LLBO regulations the only areas that alcohol is permitted is the 2 dedicated licenced areas. This year there will be a zero tolerance on open alcohol and in coolers on the showgrounds.
Is the whole show open on Thursday? No. This year we are having some live music and the Great Lakes Truck & Tractor Pullers will be pulling as well as some local pullers. The only area open will be the pull grandstands, truckpull pits and the Pit Bar area. All other areas of the show will be fenced off for access.
What are the show hours? The truckpull area will be the only area open for the general public to access on Thursday. The gates will open at 6pm until midnight. The whole show is open to the general public starting at noon on Friday to 1am, Saturday from 9am to 1am, and Sunday from 7:30am to 4pm.
Does my weekend pass get me into all events? This year your Weekend Pass includes all events other than the BBQ on Saturday night which is 15.00 and the Sunday morning breakfast.
Are passes transferable? No. In 2007 we implemented a wristband policy. Anyone at the show must be wearing an appropriate wristband for that day. Torn wristbands are considered void.

Are there showers on site? There are showers available 24 hours/day at the campground washroom and during business hours in the arena change rooms.

Show & Shine Questions

Once I am parked in the Show & Shine area what else do I have to do? After you are parked you need to take your pre-registration confirmation or your at site payment confirmation and registration form to the Registration Shed along with your mileage. At that time you will receive your Weekend Passes, window placard and goody bag.
If I have a truck in the Show & Shine can I bring in supplies in a car/pickup? No, you must bring all supplies with you or carry in from front entrance. Please remember that we had over 600 Trucks on our S&S field in 2006 as well as over 62,000 spectators. Having additional vehicle movement creates a huge liability as well it upsets many S&S participants with the amount of dust in the air. With the new spectator entrance it will much easier to carry in items.
If I enter a truck in the Show & Shine can I sleep in my truck? We encourage you to stay in your truck or if room allows you can set up a tent behind your truck but please take it down during the day. Our judges do look at your site appearance when they are judging your truck.
As a Show & Shine participant can we bring alcohol to the Show? Under LCBO and Township of Centre Wellington, the area designated for your truck is considered your campsite. Alcohol may be consumed on your campsite only. Alcohol is not permitted off of your campsite.
Do you expect very little to no lineup for Show & Shine parking like last year? We would expect the new parking system we implemented last year to have no or very little backlog. After 2005 we spent a lot of time preparing a new game plan and worked quite well last year. Once you get to the Staging Area you must show your pre-registration confirmation or pay $50 (cash, debit, Visa, MC or AMEX). You will then be parked. Only trucks who are pre registered can enter the grounds starting at 10 am on Thursday. All other trucks cannot enter until Friday at 9am or Saturday at 8 am. There will be no parking on the Show & Shine field after 9pm Thursday & Friday.
