2009 Show Events

Many of the events of past years will be back.  Please watch this space for the 2009 events as they are announced.  Some of the previous year's events include:

Truck & Tractor Pulls

We have an action packed weekend of pulling.  In fact, we have so much scheduled that we are pulling on Thursday night also.  Check out the schedule page for the whole lineup.  All the pulls are included in your regular gate admission.

BBQ

The Alma Optimists are back to prepart a home cooked meal for 1200 hungry people.  The roast beef dinner costs $15.00.  The meal is served in the Diamond Entertainment area between 6 and 8 pm on Saturday.  Tickets on sale at the show.

Trucker's Breakfast

On Saturday morning the Fergus Kinsmen put on a great spread.  Scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes & syrup, toast, coffee & juice.  This breakfast is open to everyone for a fee and is served in the Community Centre from 8 to 10:30 am.

Sunday Morning Church Service

Chaplain Len Reimer from Transport For Christ will lead a non-denominational service with many ministerials from the Centre Wellington area in the Family Area

Project Track Champion

Look behind the arean for the Project Track Champion.  This unique vehicle allows those with special needs as well as those without an opportunity to grasp a true sense and feeling of what it is like to be inside a real race car.

Classic Rock Friday

We are proud and excited to have artists rockin' it out for us on Friday night.  Prepare to be blown away by artists who will have you singing and dancing all night.

Child Find Ontario

Stop by the Ontario Trucking News site at S19 for your chance to win a Nascar jacket.  While you're there, have you children's fingerprints taken.

Family Fun Zone

The Fergus Family Fun Zone is jammed with activities.  There will be a Midway with 12 family favourite amusement rides and 5 family games.  There will be many free interactive family activites located in the "Free Kid's Area".  All proceeds will go to the Trucking For Wishes foundation.

The Back 40

The Back 40 Show & Shine area is located at the south end of the show behind the trees.  This year, this area is action packed.  A stage will be set up on Saturday afternoon for musicians to jam and warm up for their performance throughout the day and don't forget the chance to will all the great prizes from Gr8Oddz.
